Virtual Real Worlds and Engineering
Tele3DWorld and MellaniuM have the ability to create realistic real time virtual 3D models and environments for engineering purposes. These 3D environments can be explored on a computer and over the internet from the user's home or office.
Engineering Designers, Planners, Testers, Users, Maintainers, etc., can walkthrough and interact with existing or future engineering items or environments (systems) just as if they were available or physically there. Systems can be static or animated to show fabrication, assembly, disassembly, operation, etc., and guidance speech, music and sound effects are played as the 3D items (or metaphors for inanimate objects) environments are explored simultaneously by as many people at any given time. This ability is very useful for design reviews, presentations, in all phases of the concept, design, development, production, and maintenance life-cycle of complex systems.
